Warranty terms
Copter guarantees you, the end user, that Copter™Screenprotector AND products from Copter will be free from defects due to materials and workmanship.
Copter™Screenprotector is subject to a lifetime warranty beginning on the date of purchase. The warranty applies to the film’s ability to protect your product. Should the film material deteriorate to the point that it no longer can protect your product, Copter, at its sole discretion, will replace the defective Copter™Screenprotector.
The guarantee applies only to the period specified above, provided that the Copter™Screenprotector has been applied and used properly.
Copter guarantees that Copter™Screenprotector is not defective either in materials or workmanship. Should damage occur due to excessive force to the product resulting in damage to the Copter™Screenprotector and your product, the warranty will not apply.
A lifetime warranty does not cover wear and tear to your product due to: improper installation of the Copter™Screenprotector, accidents, exposure of the Copter™Screenprotector to extreme cold or heat, or any other aspects of extreme or abnormal use.
If Copter receives notice during the warranty period of such defects, Copter will, at its sole discretion, decide whether to honour the warranty or not. Copter does not guarantee that your product will be able to be used without interruption or error, since Copter´s guarantee only applies to Copter™Screenprotector.
If Copter has not been able to replace the Copter™Screenprotector within a reasonable amount of time during the warranty period, you will be entitled to a refund of the purchase price upon prompt return of the Copter™Screenprotector. The warranty does not apply to defects resulting from (a) improper or inadequate maintenance measures taken; (b) wear and tear to products/equipment not supplied by Copter; (c) unauthorized modification or misuse; (d) operation outside the applicable environmental parameter limits specified for the product; or (e) improper site preparation or maintenance for installation.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, WHETHER WRITTEN OR VERBAL, ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. COPTER DISCLAIMS ITSELF OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS REGARDING MERCHANTABILITY, QUALITY AND SUITABILITY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Some countries/regions do not allow limitations regarding the duration of an implied warranty, which may mean that the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You might also have other rights, which vary from country/region to country/region. Copter’s warranty applies to all countries/regions where Copter has marketed Copter™Screenprotector. The level of warranty service you receive may vary according to local standards. Copter will not alter the format or function of the product to make it operable in a country/region where it was not originally intended to operate on the basis of legal or regulatory concerns.
TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, THE REMEDIES IN THIS DECLARATION OF WARRANTY ARE THE CUSTOMER´S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. EXCEPT WHEN INDICATED AS ABOVE, IN NO EVENT SHALL COPTER OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE HELD LIABLE FOR LOSS OF DATA OR FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT OR DATA), OR OTHER DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WRONGDOING OR OTHERWISE.
Certain countries/regions do not allow exceptions or limitations for accidental or consequential damages, which may mean that the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
